Why art is difficult

Traduzione: C'è sempre spazio per il miglioramento.

La gente dice queste parole con facilità, analizziamole.

"Là" - miglioramento vuole dire che non siamo ancora arrivati "là" (dove vogliamo arrivare)

Spazio - è un paradosso in realtà. Che sia un centimetro o mille chilometri non c'è differenza.

Perché per ogni passo che compio, il miglioramento è sempre un passo avanti a me.

E sempre vuol dire... per sempre!

Per cui, in pratica, mi state dicendo che per arrivare dove voglio arrivare dovrò percorrere per sempre una distanza infinita... ma non sarò mai in grado di acchiappare il miglioramento perché mi è sempre un passo avanti.

Ma sapete cosa vuol dire sapere che qualcosa non verrà mai raggiunto? 

Per questo i creativi sono pazzi, perché conoscono il vero significato dell'infinito.

Ci vivono dentro.

Your proposals

Here are some of the characters proposed by the readers for The Gem of the Mediterranean Sea.

Some of the characters came with so much material that I managed to split them in two or more characters.

So meet Scylla and Charybdis who are basically Circe's housekeepers. 

Cassiphone who is in charge of the boys.

Hyttia or Ittia (have not decided on the spelling yet) is in charge of the serraglios (as Circe likes to collect animals) - she believes to be cursed and that she has been turned into a fish person.

Telegonus is the only clone who does not look one bit like the original Kane. He is also Circe's chef of security.

Philip is one of Gemma's suitors he almost makes it to the inner circle.

A few more member of the crew - you may remember Jules and Emilio for being inseparable buddies.
Although Pifo made them fight using bread balls... but them we see them being friends again while they eat Cassata and one of them is playing the slapping hand games with Kes.

The other guy is Bear... he was very happy to get a haircut but eventually his turn never came so he stayed a bear in the end.

My friend Nopp painted this beautiful picture of Castalia dressed as a summer day. She used markers, acrylics and a bunch onf mixed media to paint this... they disney is strong with this one muahahaha.

We begin our Valentine week with one romantic picture of Kane and Castalia asleep... and the caption: it takes a real man to love a strong woman.

This is another rough concept for a dress that is supposed to switch from sacred to profane (although i still want the profane version to make her look innocent).

I might try something puffier for the one to the right side so when she removed the cape people will go: woaaaah, where was all the fluff hiding?

I did not have much time to share some of these with you guys but I recently received some fanart and lots of love so it's about time we share and love in return, right?

This first set of drawing is from Kevsoraone - who said he could not sleep at night and so doodle this - for a while I lost his message and contact but I finally found it again: visit Kevin's gallery on Deviant Art Here.

I think you guys might know him Shawn Ye (he currently has no website and I think he suspended his DA account but you can find him on CGSociety and Concept Art World... for instance.. HERE - he is very famous in the feline lover community and designs cards and stuff.
Well it just so happens that Shawn sits right next to me in the office hahaha and so he was inspired by pirates and white cats and drew me a Catstalia.
